The name given to the rum is intentionally distinctive as the Island of Cuba is also known as the Isla Grande of the Caribbean. For the first time in the history of Cuban Ligero Rum, this rum is the result of collaboration among all the Maestros Roneros whose knowledge has recently been recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
